1. Purpose and scope
These Trainer Professional Terms apply when you create or use a Trainer account, publish a profile, list services, communicate with Members, accept bookings, deliver services, receive payouts, participate in campaigns or otherwise sell professional services through Trainr.
These Trainer Professional Terms supplement the General Platform Terms and any commercial schedule, dashboard settings, onboarding checklist, payout terms, service-specific rules or written agreement accepted by Trainr and the Trainer.
2. Independent contractor status
You acknowledge that you are an independent contractor and not an employee, worker, agent, partner, franchisee, representative or joint venturer of Trainr.
- You control your professional methods, training style, service delivery and business operations, subject to platform rules, safety obligations and applicable law.
- You are responsible for your taxes, permits, licensing, professional qualifications, insurance, equipment, premises, visa/work authorization and legal compliance.
- Trainr does not guarantee bookings, income, profile ranking, leads, payout frequency, visibility, conversion rate or minimum business volume.
3. Eligibility, credentials and professional licensing
You represent and warrant that all information you provide is true, accurate and current, including identity, experience, certifications, qualifications, licenses, insurance, bank details, tax information and service descriptions.
- You must hold and maintain all qualifications, registrations, licenses and permits required to provide each service you advertise or deliver.
- You must promptly update expired, suspended, revoked or changed credentials.
- Trainr may request documents, background checks, identity checks, portfolio evidence, references or proof of insurance.
- Trainr may reject, remove or suspend any profile or service where documents are missing, expired, suspicious, non-compliant or inconsistent with platform standards.
4. Service listings and profile obligations
- Keep your bio, photos, service descriptions, pricing, packages, availability, location, languages, cancellation rules and qualifications accurate and up to date.
- Do not make misleading claims about results, medical effects, guaranteed transformations, injury treatment, certifications, affiliations, celebrity clients or endorsements.
- Do not list services outside your competence or licensing scope.
- Do not use stolen content, third-party images without rights, fake reviews or inaccurate before-and-after materials.
- Trainr may edit formatting, hide, reject or remove listings that breach policy or create risk.
5. Professional conduct and safeguarding
You must maintain high standards of professionalism, safety, confidentiality and respect when interacting with Members, Trainr staff and other Trainers.
- Do not harass, discriminate, threaten, shame, exploit, sexually harass, abuse or intimidate Members.
- Do not enter inappropriate personal, romantic, financial or exploitative relationships arising from Trainer-Member interactions.
- Do not recommend illegal substances, unsafe practices, extreme diets, prohibited drugs, unlicensed supplements or medical treatment outside your scope.
- Do not provide services while impaired by alcohol, drugs, fatigue or illness that may compromise safety.
- Respect cultural norms, privacy, modesty, boundaries and applicable UAE laws.
6. Health screening and session safety
You are responsible for applying professional judgment and reasonable safety screening before and during services.
- Ask Members to disclose relevant injuries, health conditions, limitations, pregnancy, medication concerns and goals before starting activities.
- Modify, stop or refuse a session if participation appears unsafe.
- Provide clear instructions, warm-up/cool-down guidance where appropriate, and safe progression of intensity.
- For virtual sessions, give reasonable environment and equipment safety guidance, while recognizing that you cannot fully control the Member’s environment.
- Immediately escalate emergencies to local emergency services or appropriate medical support.
7. Bookings, attendance and reliability
- Honor confirmed bookings and be punctual.
- Maintain accurate availability and block times when unavailable.
- Communicate professionally through the Platform unless Trainr permits another channel.
- Repeated cancellations, late arrivals, no-shows, unresolved complaints or low reliability may lead to lower ranking, payout holds, penalties, profile restrictions or termination.
- You may not substitute another trainer unless Trainr and the Member approve the substitution through the Platform.
8. Payments, commissions, payouts and taxes
Trainr collects payments from Members and remits Trainer earnings after deducting applicable commission, service fees, payment processing charges, refunds, chargebacks, taxes, penalties and other amounts owed.

9. Non-circumvention and off-platform activity
To protect the marketplace, you must not intentionally bypass Trainr for relationships, bookings, payments or packages that originated through Trainr.
- Do not ask Members to pay you directly for Trainr-originated services.
- Do not move Members to WhatsApp, cash, bank transfer, external websites or other platforms to avoid Trainr fees.
- Do not offer lower off-platform rates to Trainr Members as an inducement to bypass the Platform.
- A breach may result in account termination, payout forfeiture or adjustment, financial penalties, legal action and loss of future access.
10. Member data, confidentiality and privacy
You may receive sensitive Member data, including goals, body measurements, health limitations, photos, workout history, chat messages and contact details. You must treat this data as strictly confidential.
- Use Member data only to deliver the specific service booked through Trainr.
- Do not copy, export, sell, disclose, post, share or reuse Member data outside Trainr without explicit consent and lawful basis.
- Do not contact Members outside the Platform except where necessary for confirmed service delivery and permitted by Trainr.
- Immediately notify Trainr of any suspected data breach, accidental disclosure, lost device, unauthorized access or privacy complaint.
- Comply with Trainr’s Privacy Policy, data handling instructions and applicable data protection laws.
11. Content, intellectual property and promotional rights
You retain ownership of original materials you create, such as training plans, videos, guides, photos, descriptions and educational content, subject to the license below.
You grant Trainr a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt, publish, translate, promote and distribute your profile, service listings, images, videos, ratings, testimonials and submitted content for operating, marketing, improving and protecting the Platform.
You must not upload content that infringes third-party rights or reveals Member information without consent.
12. Reviews, ranking and platform integrity
- Trainr may display reviews, ratings, response times, completion rates, cancellation rates, badges, ranking, recommendations or quality indicators.
- You must not manipulate reviews, buy reviews, pressure Members for ratings, retaliate against Members, create fake accounts or misrepresent performance.
- Trainr may change ranking and recommendation logic at any time and does not guarantee visibility.
13. Insurance and risk allocation
You should maintain adequate professional liability, public liability, personal accident and any other insurance appropriate for the services you provide. Where Trainr requires proof of insurance, failure to maintain coverage may result in suspension.
You are responsible for claims arising from your negligence, misconduct, unsafe instructions, unlicensed activity, breach of law, breach of these terms, failure to screen, or failure to maintain a safe environment within your reasonable control.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Trainr and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors and agents from claims, injuries, losses, liabilities, damages, fines, penalties, legal fees and costs arising from your services, misconduct, negligence, breach of these terms, breach of law, infringement, data misuse, unsafe practices, tax obligations or disputes with Members.
15. Suspension, removal and termination
Trainr may suspend, restrict, delist or terminate a Trainer account immediately for safety concerns, fraud, harassment, data misuse, legal non-compliance, expired credentials, payment circumvention, serious complaint, misleading claims, poor reliability, criminal activity or breach of terms.
On termination, you must complete or refund outstanding bookings as directed by Trainr, stop using Member data, return or delete confidential information where required, and settle any amounts owed.
16. Governing law and contact
These Trainer Professional Terms are governed by the laws of the UAE as applicable in Dubai. Dubai courts have exclusive jurisdiction unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
