1. Purpose and scope

These Member Terms apply when you use Trainr as a Member to discover Trainers, create a profile, book sessions, buy packages, participate in challenges, use community features, message Trainers, connect wearables, receive fitness or wellness content, or otherwise purchase or consume services through the Platform.

These Member Terms supplement the General Platform Terms. If there is a conflict about Member-specific matters, these Member Terms apply first for that Member journey.

2. Member account and eligibility
  • You must be at least 18 years old to independently create a Member account and purchase services, unless Trainr expressly permits guardian-managed use for minors.
  • You must provide accurate profile, contact, payment, age and relevant health information.
  • You are responsible for choosing Trainers and services suitable for your goals, ability, health status, location and schedule.
  • Do not create multiple accounts to evade restrictions, cancellation rules, suspension, payment obligations or safety requirements.
3. Health readiness and assumption of risk

By participating in any session, class, program, challenge or activity, you confirm that you understand physical activity involves inherent risk. You voluntarily assume all known and unknown risks associated with your participation.

Medical clearance

  • You should obtain medical clearance before starting a new fitness, nutrition, weight-loss or wellness program, especially if you have a medical condition, injury, pregnancy, recent surgery, chronic illness, cardiovascular risk or any symptoms that may make exercise unsafe.
  • You must tell your Trainer about relevant injuries, limitations, medical conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy, recent operations or restrictions before the session begins.
  • You must stop immediately and seek medical attention if you feel pain, chest tightness, dizziness, fainting, unusual shortness of breath, irregular heartbeat or any concerning symptom.

Trainr and Trainers do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, clinical care, physiotherapy, rehabilitation or emergency services unless expressly stated and legally licensed for that purpose.

4. Selecting Trainers and services

Trainr may display Trainer profiles, categories, ratings, reviews, content, pricing, availability, qualifications and recommendations. These tools help discovery but do not guarantee suitability, safety, results or professional performance.

  • Review the service description, Trainer profile, experience, language, location, cancellation rules, equipment requirements and price before booking.
  • Ask questions before purchase if you are unsure whether a service fits your needs.
  • Do not rely on reviews or ranking alone as a substitute for your own judgment.
  • Trainr may remove or restrict a Trainer but is not responsible for every act, omission, statement or instruction of independent Trainers.
5. Bookings, attendance and session rules

Booking confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when the Platform confirms availability and payment authorization or other required approval is completed. Trainr may decline, cancel or reverse a booking for payment failure, error, safety, fraud, Trainer availability, technical issue or policy breach.

Punctuality

  • Arrive or log in on time. A Trainer is not required to extend a session because you are late.
  • If you do not attend, the session may be treated as a no-show and charged in full.
  • For virtual sessions, you are responsible for device setup, internet connection, camera/microphone access and having a safe space.

Environment and equipment

  • For in-person or hybrid sessions, you must ensure the location is safe, lawful and suitable for exercise.
  • You must use equipment responsibly and follow safety instructions.
  • Do not participate under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, sedatives or any substance that may impair judgment or movement.
6. Cancellations, rescheduling, credits and refunds

Cancellation and rescheduling rules may depend on the service, Trainer, package, promotion or subscription selected. The applicable window should be displayed in the app at booking or in the relevant service details.

Unless required by law, purchases are generally non-refundable and non-transferable. Refund requests are reviewed case-by-case and may be refused where the service was delivered, the issue was caused by the Member, the request is outside the applicable policy, or the Member breached the terms.

7. Payments, subscriptions and promotions
  • You authorize Trainr and its Payment Processors to charge your selected payment method for services, subscriptions, packages, taxes, fees and penalties disclosed at checkout or in the app.
  • Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Free trials, discounts, referral credits, gift codes or promotional credits may be subject to separate conditions and may be withdrawn, limited or adjusted where misused.
  • You must not use unauthorized, stolen, fraudulent or disputed payment methods.
  • Chargebacks or payment disputes may lead to account review, suspension, debt recovery or loss of access to services.
8. Conduct with Trainers and other Members

Trainr requires respectful, safe and professional conduct.

  • Do not harass, threaten, bully, shame, discriminate against, exploit, stalk or abuse Trainers or other Members.
  • Do not ask Trainers to provide services outside Trainr to avoid platform fees.
  • Do not request illegal, unsafe, sexual, medical, controlled substance, supplement or unlicensed services.
  • Do not record a session without the Trainer’s express consent and any required consent from other participants.
  • Do not share private messages, personal data, contact information or health information of others without consent.
9. Community features, reviews and content

You may be able to post reviews, ratings, photos, transformation content, comments, challenge results or community messages. Your content must be honest, lawful, respectful and based on your genuine experience.

  • Do not post fake reviews, paid reviews without disclosure, defamatory statements, private data, before-and-after images of others without consent, illegal content or misleading health claims.
  • Trainr may remove or moderate content that violates policy, creates legal risk, harms users or undermines trust.
  • You grant Trainr the content license described in the General Terms and Privacy Policy.
10. Wearables, health logs and integrations

If you connect wearables or health platforms, you authorize Trainr to receive the categories of data you select or enable through your device settings or the Platform.

  • Wearable and app data may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed or unavailable.
  • You control many permissions through the wearable, operating system or third-party provider.
  • Disconnecting an integration may reduce personalization or service functionality.
  • Trainr is not responsible for third-party privacy practices or data accuracy.
11. Media consent and events

Trainr may run group sessions, challenges, events or community campaigns. Photography, screenshots, recordings or testimonials may be requested. Trainr will use identifiable images, videos or testimonials for marketing only where consent has been collected or where permitted by law.

You may withdraw future marketing consent, but this may not affect materials already lawfully published before withdrawal unless applicable law requires removal.

12. Liability waiver and release

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release Trainr and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors and agents from claims arising out of or connected with your participation in fitness, wellness, nutrition, coaching, community or event activities; acts or omissions of independent Trainers; your use of facilities, locations or equipment; your failure to disclose health information; or interactions with other users.

Nothing in these Member Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Member suspension and termination

Trainr may suspend or terminate a Member account for unsafe conduct, harassment, fraud, payment failure, chargebacks, circumvention, misuse of community features, false information, account sharing, legal risk or breach of terms. Suspension may result in loss of access to packages, credits or community features where permitted by law and policy.

14. Governing law and contact

These Member Terms are governed by the laws of the UAE as applicable in Dubai. Subject to mandatory consumer protections, Dubai courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
